DA is an interception away from the bench so short term as in this year alone thats an upgrade. Dunn has been somwhat producing so you may squeeze out his last little bit of fantasy relevance. And Calvin is Calvin but better hope kitna stays his QB...

Pittsburgh Dukes 0.0666 Miami Dolphins 0.0296 Cape Canaveral Avengers 0.0222 Scotland YardDogs 0.0222 Syracuse Crush 0.0178 Pawtucket Colts 0.0143 Gotham City Generals 0.0111 New York Jets 0.0105 Delaware Blue Hens 0.0074 S.C. Showstoppers 0.0070 Louisville Juggarnauts 0.0042 Atlanta Browns 0.0039
The top 6 teams remain the same with some variation in the numbers. Dukes moves back toward the pack after the loss to the YardDogs but still maintains a lead in the polls due to leading the league in PF and facing the leagues highest PA. Dolphins also took a step back with his first loss.
The bottom 6 saw Generals improve, Blue Hens take a tumble, and Browns solidify his grip on the bottom spot, though Jugger"nots" is vying for that 1st draft pick position.

Still don't have enough time to do it all through, promise it'll come tomorrow morning. But wanted to retort to the other things.
One, yeah Campbell and Calvin are slight upgrades now. Dunn is a downgrade this year.
Next year, Campbell and Calvin are still slight upgrades, Dunn is a huge down. But then you throw in the picks. And so I think I do better in the future.
And since Yarddogs posted...haha told you I was last.

Week 5 Power Rankings Sorry for the delay. This week is hard…a lot of shifting. This week also marks my drop into last place in the standings, so that sucks haha.
1. Miami Dolphins (1, Lost versus Colts, now 4-1) And the last undefeated team falls. But Dukes and Avengers lost, so his security on the number one spot remains. Pros: Mewelde Moore was a great FA pickup as every single fantasy site said he’d be. But after that, basically nothing. Cons: This team is used to guys scoring in the 20s, this week LJ and Santana Moss combined for 0 points. Dolphins should be okay, but when your stars can score that little you’ve got to be a little scared of your prospects. We’ll see how this team deals with the “2 wins in a row but untalented” SC Showstoppers next week.
2. Pittsburgh Dukes (2, Lost versus Yarddogs, now 2-3) This loss was tough as well. Again, having lost 3 games may make some people think Dukes should be lower. But would you really rank Jets over Dukes? Pros: Andre Johnson, Hines Ward, Randy Moss…all the WRs finally woke up from their slumber to produce big point values. Cons: Except Arnaz Battle, who had 1 point and was a questionable start (see the game message board). Only having one starting QB ended up being huge as well.
3. Syracuse Crush (4, Won versus Avengers, now 4-1) I saw Crush as sneaking into the playoffs at season’s beginning. Looks like he’s going to do a lot more than sneak in. Pros: Brandon “Big Baby” Jacobs dropped 40 pts, while the newly acquired Christopher Cooley scored 27, which is very nice from the TE position. Cons: Not too many. Low scores were 6 from Lance Moore (which is okay) and 7 from Selvin Young (who is both splitting carries and hurt, so that sucks a bit more).
4. Pawtucket Colts (5, Won versus Dolphins, now 3-2) Someone had to beat the Fins, so nicely done Colts, and way to go from 0-2 to competitive. Pros: Highest score was 21, but 6 guys scored between 18 and 21. No great shakes, but consistency will win you leagues. Cons: Schaub going for 0 obviously hurt, but his game day benching was arguably more shocking than Carson Palmer’s the week before. A few 6’s from WRs didn’t help either.
5. Scotland Yarddogs (6, Won versus Dukes, now 3-2) Nice win over a good opponent, but Yarddogs is going to cause heart attacks if his games keep being this close. Pros: Kurt Warner went for 22, and Michael Turner and Lee Evans had 30 apiece. Cons: Bills DEF going for -6…that’ll hurt everytime. But he’s already locking up the division given Jugs’ and Browns’ bad play.
6. Cape Canaveral Avengers (3, Lost versus Cuse, now 3-2) And the mighty keep falling. I told you I wasn’t sold on this team, the large drop this week should emphasize that. Pros: Reggie Bush went for 27, color me surprised. Cons: The next highest score was 15, and I wouldn’t trust Gus Frerotte, Antonio Bryant, and John Kasay to go double digits every week. Good luck Avengers, but time may be running out. Good acquisition of MJD though.
7. Gotham City General Assaults (8, Won vs. Jugs, now 3-2) And things are tied atop the standings thanks to a Gotham win and Avengers loss. I picked Gotham to win a lot of games this preseason, looks like the prediction is finally coming true. Pros: It’s all about Portis and Fitzgerald. And consistency, with most of the team in double digits. Cons: Matt Hasslebeck gets all of his WRs back…and goes for 4 pts/gets hurt. How well the Seahawks play on offense is going to have a huge effect on how much noise Gotham makes in the league this year.
8. Delaware Blue Hens (7, Lost vs. Jets, now 1-4) 2 guys on bye weeks played…what’s up Blue Hens? Pros: Forte was nice, and the Bears DEF helped out a lot. Cons: This week byes played a huge factor. You couldn’t get to your computer/the real deal site once between Tuesday and Sunday? Really? Very talented team, but it won’t win if the lineups aren’t even set up right.
9. New York Jets (10, Won versus Blue Hens, now 3-2) The wins keep piling up, but it’s hard for me to get real behind this team. Let’s see how they fare in Week 6. Pros: Packers WRs look good again, as does Slaton in a starting role. And the QBs played great. Cons: 5’s from some Johnsons (Bryant and Rudi) didn’t help much, though Rudi was a decent spot play before the Lions remembered they had a better running back.
10. SC Showstoppers (12, Won versus Browns, now 2-3) Okay, this week SC finally climbs out of the cellar. You beat 2 teams, you can jump both of them haha. Pros: DeAngelo Williams? Really? But Roddy White also did well/made a lot more sense. Cons: 3 zeroes in the lineup will usually kill you. But a few 20s and DeAngelo made up for it against a weak Browns’ showing.
11. Louisville Juggarnauts (9, Lost versus Gotham, now 1-4) I still love you Jugs! Your team is fading fast, but you’re still more talented than mine, so you can have 11th haha. Pros: Those all star backs had a great day, as did Reggie Wayne. Cons: That’s it after that though. Hardly any points from anywhere else, and Trent Edwards suffered a major concussion, which is never a fun time.
12. Atlanta Browns (11, Lost vs. SC, now 1-4) I said if I lost I’d be last in the league. Well I did, so hello last place in the rankings. Pros: Aaron Rodgers looked great despite his injury, and Edge played well in his first game as a Brown. Cons: One QB hurt, but too many low scores in general. It’ll be interesting to see if all the new players (Jason Campbell, Warrick Dunn, Calvin Johnson) can infuse some much needed energy/talent into this team. Aiming for 11th place this week!
Record on Last Week's Predictions: 2-4 Record on Season's Predictions: 8-16
Week 5 Predictions: Colts over Jugs Fins over SC Avengers over Blue Hens Dukes over Generals Crush over Browns
And in my pick for game of the week, Yarddogs over Jets (but really close)

Week 6 Power Rankings So I’m super excited about the Browns win, and that things are finally starting to turn the way my rankings put them at season’s beginning. Of Colts/Cuse, Dogs, Dolphins, and Gotham, only one of the division leaders wasn’t picked to end up in the playoffs. Sure Dukes, Blue Hens, and Jugs aren’t doing great…but hey half isn’t bad, right? To the picks:
1. Scotland Yarddogs (5, Won versus Jets, now 4-2) I’m sure, per usual, that a lot of people will disagree with this pick. But he got a big win this week over an up and coming Jets team and is tied for the biggest division lead thus far in this early season. Sounds good to me. Pros: Marion Barber went for 40, which is obviously huge/expected. But Berrian for 32 was nice, and 9 guys over 16 points was very very nice. Cons: Jonathan Stewart went for 2 points against a good Bucs defense, but only one other starter went for less than 10. This team looks real good right now, especially with Roethlisberger and Lee Evans coming off of the bye.
2. Gotham City General Assaults (7, Won vs. Dukes, now 4-2) Possibly more controversial than my pick for number one. I swear it’s not just because he beat Dukes. It’s more because the stars on this team shine brighter than most teams, and because this team continues to put up huge scoring weeks with JaMarcus Russell and J.T. O’Sullivan at QB, which is very impressive. Pros: Portis/Fitzgerald again. Correll Buckhalter got 41 in Westbrook’s stead and was nice, Joe Nedney getting 16 was a cool bonus too. Cons: Mostly the QBs, but Willis McGahee’s 8 in a game many predicted he’d rock kind of sucks. But Gotham is clearly a team on the way up, especially with Jamal Lewis’ 23 points sitting on the bench this week.
3. Miami Dolphins (1, Lost versus SC, now 4-2) Don’t worry Dolphins, you didn’t fall too far. SC is getting better, but the combo of 2 losses in a row and this loss to a lesser opponent drops you down. Julius Jones and Eddie Royal can only take a team so far dude. Pros: Chad Pennington led the team…with 21 points. Ouch. Cons: Hilliard – 1, Fasano – 2, Santana Moss – 4, Julius – 8…all unacceptable for a team that was number one. Granted LJ and Lendale both had their bye weeks. But this week was embarrassing, and if this keeps up Dolphins is going to fall way down the rankings.
4. Pawtucket Colts (4, Won versus Jugs, now 4-2) Honestly, I was gonna put Colts at 2. But then Romo broke his pinky and now Colts has to scramble for a new QB. That just sucks. Pros: Matt Schuab showing up for once was sweeeeet, and LT’s 22 was more…LTlike than usual. Cons: McClain’s -2 sticks out, but Engram’s 0 probably hurts more, as he’s supposed to be Seattle’s number one target. Give it a week or two, I’m sure he’ll get back there in time.
5. Pittsburgh Dukes (2, Lost versus Gotham, now 2-4) For everyone that says I love Dukes, he dropped finally…a little. His team is crazy talented, but 2-4 isn’t gonna do much for you. But 2-4 definitely can make the playoffs, and that’s what’s important right now. Pros: Andre Johnson played huge this week and Drew Brees continued his record setting pace. Cons: 3 0’s, and one each of 1 and 2 hurt immensely. Plus Farve and Randy Moss didn’t do much. This team is running out of gas and severely underperforming its early season ranks. Sucks to be Dukes.
6. Syracuse Crush (3, Lost versus Browns, now 4-2) Cuse is still good, and we’ll see how next week goes. But you don’t lose to me and not drop in the rankings. At least not until my team plays well. So sorry, maybe next week you’ll go up again. Pros: Vincent Jackson had 32, Derrick Ward had 20..that’s about it. Cons: Giants Defense going for -10 ain’t gonna help. I love the Browns, I hate the Giants…that was a sweet ending to a week 6 win. But Cuse will bounce back next week against Blue Hens, I’m sure of it.
7. New York Jets (9, Lost versus Yarddogs, now 3-3) A loss this week, but to a good team and with a good score. You’re welcome by the way for my selection of Kyle Orton while you were away on vacation. Pros: 4 scores of the same number twice (Jones and Bucs D with 33, Jennings with 22, Slaton with 11) led the way. And Ryan Grant had 18 points…holy shit he actually did something this week? Cons: Chansi Stuckey’s 0 happens. Holt’s 4 and Clark’s 3…less acceptable. This team probably won’t go playoffs, but could be a spoiler threat all season long.
8. Cape Canaveral Avengers (6, Lost versus Blue Hens, now 3-3) I blame myself. You put a team up in the rankings and they go right back to their expected sucky ways. Could Avengers go from 12 to 1 to 12? Looks like it could happen (unless Jugs keeps it up too). Pros: Don’t I feel dumb…I just traded DA and MJD to Avengers and they combine for 65 points in their first week. Change of scenery much? Cons: Ginn, Walker, and Bryant combine for 3 points. In the preseason I said this team’s WRs sucked…now that Calvin is gone it’s Brandon Marshall and the chump brigade. I don’t think this patchwork team goes much farther this year.
9. Delaware Blue Hens (7, Won versus Avengers, now 2-4) If only I controlled this team. Blue Hens puts up high scores every week with limited roster moves. This week Darrell Jackson played…you can’t tell me there was no one better on the waiver wire. Pros: 4 guys went over 20 points, with Braylon Edwards topping all with 38 points as he broke out this week. Cons: The (lack of) roster moves on this team is maddening. So talented…such a waste.
10. SC Showstoppers (10, Won versus Dolphins, now 3-3) I thought they had a shot in the preseason, and maybe Roddy White’s continued maturity can make it happen? Pros: Frank Gore’s 29 and Roddy’s 28 did most of the damage. Cons: I count 3 zeroes, which is still awful. But 3 wins in a row ain’t too shabby….keep it up and the Super Bowl is yours (*laughs*)
11. Louisville Juggarnauts (9, Lost versus Colts, now 2-4) So close to putting Jugs 12th, but 172 points ain’t too bad. So at least one more week outside the cellar for you, even as the only team without 2 wins. Pros: Manning and Wayne combined for 54 points. And Ronnie “Wild Cat” Brown and his 25 points weren’t too shabby. Cons: Chris Perry (2), Michael Bush (1)…this team is like half scrubs and half stars. Too bad scrubs make up the larger half.
12. Atlanta Browns (11, Won versus Cuse, now 2-4) Haha I aimed for 11th place but still won’t give it to myself. Wins are nice but it’s not like it was overly impressive! Pros: Aaron Rodgers and Warrick “Madden 98” Dunn both went for 26 points. Packers Def went for another 24. Cons: Those trades could come back to haunt me. DA and MJD were great, while Edge and Donald Lee were…less so. Starting to look towards next year it seems…
Record on Last Week's Predictions: 2-4 Record on Season's Predictions: 10-20
Week 7 Predictions: Dukes over Browns Crush over Blue Hens (bounce back win) Dolphins over Jugs Jets over SC Avengers over Dogs (Bye Weeks hurt)
And in my pick for GOTW, Gotham over COlts in a nailbiter. Gotham’s QBs suck, but Romo is out for Colts and thus evens the suckiness out.

The BS poll numbers for week 6 have incorporated a new ratio as part of the calculations. Looking below you will see what I call a "Coaching Ratio." It is the number of points a team has scored divided by the maximum possible number of points the team could have scored. So your team may be a low scoring team (Showstoppers), but that doesn't mean that you are not maximizing the low-scoring talent that you have. On the flip side, take the editors team, the YardDogs. The YardDogs are scoring pretty well overall, but they could be putting up lots more points. Poor coaching decisions are costing them points (which makes perfect sense if you knew how little sense the YardDogs coach actually has)
Pittsburgh Dukes 0.0222 (tough opponents are responsible for the record, not the talent or coaching) Miami Dolphins 0.0202 (though scoring talent is not as high, better results by maximizing points) Scotland YardDogs 0.0117 (good solid team that would be higher if the coaching choices were better) Gotham City Generals 0.0097 Pawtucket Colts 0.0093 Syracuse Crush 0.0089 Cape Canaveral Avengers 0.0088 Delaware Blue Hens 0.0085 (this entire crowd, Generals thru Blue Hens, is almost interchangeable. Its the coaching choices once again that suppress Avengers' and Crush's rank. Colts like the YardDogs has enough scoring talent to overcome some poor lineup choices) New York Jets 0.0072 S.C. Showstoppers 0.0064 Atlanta Browns 0.0050 Louisville Juggarnauts 0.0024 (down here at the bottom, Juggs is firming up his grip on the number #1 pick)
Coaching ratio Miami Dolphins 0.9255 S.C. Showstoppers 0.9190 Pittsburgh Dukes 0.9093 Delaware Blue Hens 0.8983 Atlanta Browns 0.8803 Gotham City Generals 0.8664 New York Jets 0.8621 Louisville Juggarnauts 0.8606 Cape Canaveral Avengers 0.8594 Syracuse Crush 0.8510 Pawtucket Colts 0.8409 Scotland YardDogs 0.8380
Maximum possible points Pittsburgh Dukes 1279 Pawtucket Colts 1263 Scotland YardDogs 1247 Syracuse Crush 1228 Cape Canaveral Avengers 1209 Miami Dolphins 1155 Delaware Blue Hens 1131 Gotham City Generals 1123 New York Jets 1095 Louisville Juggarnauts 1040 Atlanta Browns 994 S.C. Showstoppers 914

It's been a very busy week around the yard for the YardDogs, but I've finally carved out a few minutes in life for handling weekly duties. The Week 7 power numbers are in. Pittsburgh Dukes 0.0286 (Dukes moved up a bit in the polls with his 4th 200+ game of the year) Miami Dolphins 0.0159 (with another convincing 200+ game, Fins has established himself as the solid #2 team in the league) Delaware Blue Hens 0.0130 (biggest mover of the week with a 5 spot jump) Cape Canaveral Avengers 0.0112 (another big jump moving up 3 spots with a big win over the YardDogs) Gotham City Generals 0.0108 (quietest 5 win team in the league) Scotland YardDogs 0.0100 (takes one on the chin from Avengers, but leading the NFC South at 4-3) Pawtucket Colts 0.0091 (falls to the bottom of the NFC North with a tough loss and an 0-2 division record) New York Jets 0.0070 (making the most of opportunity at 1 game off the division lead) Syracuse Crush 0.0068 (at the bottom of the NFC North power rankings, but top of the division standings) S.C. Showstoppers 0.0057 (offensive offensive output is killing this team) Atlanta Browns 0.0048 (14 trades in one week, a new league record! and not one complaint....) Louisville Male Nurses 0.0020 (what can you say, the injury bug has to bite somebody, this year its Juggs)

Week 7 Power Rankings: So Matt Schuab is finally on my team (albeit, not the way I wanted) and so the rankings go up. A few good teams lost, a few bad ones won, and the board shakes up again.
1. Gotham City General Assaults (2, Won vs. Colts, now 5-2) I picked Gotham to beat Colts in a showdown and they followed through for me. With Yarddogs losing, that’s enough to warrant a top spot ranking for Assaults. Pros: Portis dropped 40 (could he be the fantasy MVP this year?) while Willis McGahee finally contributed with 34 points. Everyone else that wasn’t a Pittsburg Steeler had at least 10 pts, so that’s nice. Cons: Those quaterbacks looked better, but 31 combined pts will not help you much from such a critical position. But I said that Gotham was on it’s way up and it’s still looking that way. Let’ see how they deal with a potential trap game this week versus Browns.
2. Scotland Yarddogs (1, Lost versus Avengers, now 4-3) As usual, giving a new team the number one ranking was a death knell, as Yarddogs went out and lost to the board falling Avengers. But Dogs roster is much better than the performance indicated. Pros: Barber with 26 and Berrian with 22 again paced the team, with Lee Evans 23 thrown in for good measure. Cons: So many cons: Jerricho Cotchery (0), Kerry Collins (6), Kevin Walter (6), Chargers DEF (-1)…that just hurts. I’m looking for a bounce back this week versus an awful opponent in SC>
3. Miami Dolphins (3 Won versus Medical Clinic, now 5-2) Opponent was unimpressive, but 217 points in a victory was. Pros: Tale of two backs: Mewelde Moore and Lendale White combined for 92 points. Cons: This is a team on the way down. Mewelde won’t be a starter for long, and Ike Hilliard/Shaun McDonald combined for -2 points. I can’t believe in Dolphins, I’m sorry.
4. Pawtucket Colts (4, Lose versus G.A., now 4-3) A loss sucks, but a loss to the number one team in my rankings is acceptable. A win over Avengers will put things back on track. Pros: Dominic Rhodes 34 and Steve Smith’s 30 were nice. Cons: Marvin Harrison going for just 2 pts and the kicker going for negative points both hurt real bad. But the real con of the week has got to be the veto of the Rodgers for Schuab trade, which would have been a tremendous help to Colts this season had it gone through.
5. Pittsburgh Dukes (5, Won versus Browns, now 3-4) So you beat one of the worst teams in the league. In the words of Shania Twain, that don’t impress me much. Pros: That being said, I actually was impressed with Dukes win, as it’s the first week where AP and SJAX both scored big. If they do this every week then the trophy is good as Dukes. Cons: Brett Farve and Drew Brees combined for 18 pts. While that hurts, it won’t happen much. As Dukes said in the game’s smack talk, his winning streak starts now.
6. Cape Canaveral Avengers (8, Won versus Yarddogs, now 4-3) Putting away Yarddogs was pretty good. I want to say I counted out Avengers too soon, but then Santonio Holmes goes and gets himself drug busted. Pros: Chris Johnson went for 39 to lead the way, while guys like Owen Daniels and Antonio Bryant chipped in as well. Cons: Other than the embarrassing start of a bye week defense, no one scored too badly. The low was Ginn Jr.’s 9 pts. But I expect much lower next week.
7. New York Jets (7, Won versus SC, now 4-3) Jets has quietly snuck into a first place tie in their division. As Ryan Grant slowly awakens, this team could be a part of some major upsets. Pros: Grant and Thomas Jones combined for 60 pts, not too shabby. Cons: Another embarrassing bye start (the kicker) but otherwise not too shabby. Chansi Stuckey needs to be removed from that lineup though.
8. Syracuse Crush (6, Lost versus Blue Hens, now 4-3) And the losses just keep on coming. This one is especially embarrassing because I called Cuse to win over Blue Hens. Whoops. Pros: Brandon Jacobs had 26 pts and was one of 3 guys over 20. Cons: 2 ones a two and 2 sixes won’t help you much, especially when one of those sixes is Terrell Owens.
9. Delaware Blue Hens (9, Won versus Cuse, now 3-4) This team is incredibly frustrating to me. If you start McNabb during his bye week you might deserve to lose. But hey, the team is damn talented. Pros: 32 pts from the Chicago DEF was nice, but Forte and Lynch let a good RB attack as well. Cons: Outside of the bye, Vernon Davis’ 1 (expected) and Phil Dawson’s 2 (unexpected) were no great shakes.
10. SC Showstoppers (10, Loss versus Jets, now 3-4) The winning streak had to stop sometime, and it stopped with a sub 100 score. Ouch. Pros: The Pats DEF scored nearly a third of the teams points. That explains a lot. Cons: 3 bye week starters…really? And then a -1, 0, and 2 fours…this team was just begging to lose this week.
11. Atlanta Browns (12, Lost versus Dukes, now 2-5) 11th place it is! Losses suck, but at least this one was high scoring. Pros: Megatron goes for 38 and hopefully continues to show that the MJD trade wasn’t thaaaat one sided. Cons: Roy E. Williams went for 0…that hurts. But he’s available, as is Derrick Mason, for draft picks. So put in your offers fellas!
12. Louisville Medical Clinic (11, Lost versus Colts, now 1-6) 12th place is finally yours after a disgusting 76 point game. Are you happy? Pros: Anthony Gonzalez led the team in scoring. With 14 points. Peyton Manning’s 9 was 4th. Cons: Everyone. Sorry Jugs, enjoy the first overall pick in the 2009 draft.
Record on Last Week's Predictions: 5-1 (Wow a good week for once) Record on Season's Predictions: 15-21
Week 8 Predictions: Generals over Browns (but closer than expected) Dukes over Jets Yarddogs over SC (SC is going to drop in next week’s rankings, I’m calling it here) Colts over Avengers Crush over Dolphins
And in my pick for game of the week, Medical Clinic over Blue Hens. Medical Clinic is awful but Blue Hens doesn’t even do roster updates, and so I expect a major upset this week.
